Apple Star

Following the instructions from Andreas Moritz’s book
The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush(1)

I often recommend the Liver detox to my patients, but they find that reading the book and the process is rather overwhelming. This is a summary of the Liver cleanse which makes it easy to use.

Equipment:

6 x 1L of cloudy apple juice

Or 1 teaspoon of malic acid powder taken with 4 glasses of water daily

Or 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water; drink 4 servings a day for 6 days

4 tbs Epsom salts to dissolve into 3 cups of water

½ cup cold pressed olive oil.

½ glass of fresh pink grapefruit juice

1 large jug and one large jam jar or jug with a lid

Days 1 – 5:

Take your servings of apple juice, malic acid or apple cider vinegar, preferably on an empty stomach

Eat warm food, but not dairy, meat or fried food

Try to do this on the day of the new moon as there is less of a pull on our fluids

On the fifth day clear the colon with castor oil, or linseeds and water or enema or a colonic

Day 6:

Drink your whole serving of apple juice etc in the morning. Eat a light breakfast of porridge oats, and stewed apples

Lunch can be plain steamed veg with basmati rice and salt. NO PROTEIN OR FATS. Drink only water after lunch

6pm: Add 4 tablespoons of Epsom salts to a total of 3 glasses of hot water in a jug, dissolve. This makes 4 servings. Drink your first portion now

8pm: Drink the second portion of Epsom salts

Place the warmed castor oil pack over the liver

9.30pm: If you have not had a bowel movement until now and not done a colon cleanse in the last 24 hours, do a water enema now

9.45pm: Mix ½ cup of the grapefruit juice with ½ glass of olive oil in the jam jar. Screw the lid down hard. Now, stand next to your bed, shake the jam jar hard and drink this mixture within 5 minutes

LIE DOWN IMMEDIATELY. Lie flat on your back with your head propped up on pillows. Or lie on your right side with your legs pulled up. Lie perfectly still for 20 minutes. If you need to do a bowel movement, do so. You may feel nauseous during the night; this is normal and due to the outpouring of gallstones and toxins from the liver and gallbladder.

Day 7:

6-6.30am: Drink your third cup of Epsom salt water. Rest, read and meditate, or potter about gently

8-8.30am: Drink your last glass of Epsom salts

By now you will be having copious watery bowel movements

10am: Eat a little fruit. By the evening you should be back to normal with your first signs of improvement. Continue to eat light meals for the next 2-3
days

It is strongly recommended that you do a colonic irrigation or several enemas in the days following so that all stones are removed from the bowel. The stones are accumulations of toxic debris and you do not want these toxins reabsorbed.
